Our Mission
Global Roots Academy exists to expand access to culturally relevant global learning experiences for children and families, especially those from historically underserved communities. Through educational media, cultural experiences, community partnerships, and travel-inspired learning, we help young people explore the world, see themselves represented in it, and develop a deeper understanding of cultures, languages, and people beyond their own.

Our Founders
Global Roots Academy was founded by the Bennett family, a traveling, homeschooling family of five who believe learning should feel expansive, meaningful, and connected to the world around us.

After years of exploring different cultures with their three sons, they saw a need for more accessible global learning experiences for children and families from historically underserved communities.

Global Roots Academy was created to help bridge that gap through culturally relevant media, learning resources, and real-world experiences that help children explore the world, understand others, and see themselves as part of a global community.
